Present: Colina Jordan, Melady Kehm, Rob Gannon, Sue Jackson (Vice-president), Dave Eggler (Treasurer), Romayne Naylor (President), Sara Hopkins, Lisa Horlein (Arts Administrator), Colleen Pike-Blair, Mark Van Horn.

Meeting called to order by Romayne at 8:12 PM

 

Minutes: Mark distributed the minutes from the September meeting. Colina made a motion to accept the minutes as written and Melady seconded. The minutes were approved.

 

Treasurer's Report: Dave E. handed out the financial report and said that there is not much to say. He said that the fiscal year is still young and we haven't spent much yet. He added that there is still an outstanding bill from Summer Sounds. Colina made and Sue seconded a motion to accept the treasurer's report. The report was accepted as written.

 

Arts Administrator: Lisa is finishing up her reports for the PCA. She said that she still has the Garver Fund application. She added that she has some publicity work for the BHCA Gallery at the Gamble Mill to work on and maybe for the Film Forum as well. With the time remaining, she will be organizing for the next Administrator to take over. She added that she hopes to continues to attend BHCA meetings afterwards. Romayne then read a BHCA letter to Lisa regretfully accepting her resignation. Melady said that the search committee is currently working on finding a replacement. .

 

BHCA Gallery at the Gamble Mill: No Report. Lisa gave Dave two artists applications at the meeting.

 

Old House Fair: No Report

 

Summer Sounds: No report

 

Film Forum: Romayne said she spoke to Helen and that this year's theme is "Impact: Small Towns in Crisis" and has tentative dates for three films. The dates are November 4, 11 and 18.

 

Library Concerts: No Report

 

Victorian Christmas: Mark reported that True sent the vendor applications out. He also explained his plan for a reusable street map of vendor locations.

 

Garden Club: No Report

 

Local Government Grant: No report

 

Building Lighting: No Report

Adjournment: Dave made a motion to adjourn and Sara seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 9:52 PM
