Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m.

Review of minutes: Correction of minutes were as follows:

·        Committee reports - Gallery at the Gamble Mill

"Art of the Bellefonte Schools was changed to "Art of the Bellefonte Schools"

•     Art Alliance website was changed from artalliancepa.com to artalliancepa.org.  Bob moved to approve the corrections and the report. True seconded; motion carried.

Treasurer's report: Dave presented a financial report comparing income and expenses for the fiscal years 7/1/96-6/30/97; 97/98; 98/99; 99/00; and 7/1/00-4/20/01.

Analysis: Income and expenses have both decreased over the past five years due to fewer activities.

Dave is considering moving some of our funds to our money market account. Dave also reviewed each year of Summer Sounds on his laptop computer. Bob suggested that each committee look at the budget to see what the trends are and consider long-range projections. Contact Dave if interested in obtaining data. Colina moved to approve the report. True seconded; motion carried.

Arts Administrator's report: Mail was distributed. Sam received a request from Hillary Clancy on behalf of Centre Playhouse to meet with BHCA at the May meeting to introduce Centre Playhouse and discuss the organization's activities. David Harry will be representing Centre Playhouse. It was decided to schedule the presentation at the beginning of the meeting. Mr. Harry would be allowed 15-20 minutes for his presentation. Sam will contact Mr. Harry with this information.

Committee reports:

Gallery at the Gamble Mill: Sam reported that Susan Nicholas Gephart was organizing a meeting. Susan did not have a set meeting date/time/place. Contact Sam if anyone is interested. He will pass this information to Susan.
