Call to Order: Romayne Naylor
Discussion:
Sally Houser presented a $1000 check to BHCA to go toward general funding. Sally was representing Wal Mart store 1640.
Minutes
Discussion: Previous meetings minutes were approved. Ralph Seeley made the motion. Donna Rochon: Second. The motion carried.
Treasurer's Report Dave Eggler
Discussion: Treasurer’s report by Dave Eggler. Approved. Motion: Gay Dunne 2nd: Jim Dunne
Arts Administrator's Report Mark Houser
Discussion: Emails and any electronic communication should be followed up by a phone call. We cannot fully rely on electronic communication.
BHCA Gallery at the Gamble Mill
The reception for the new exhibition - good turnout.
Sunday Afternoons in the Library
Discussion: Great Concert on the 4th.
Executive Committee - New Business
Discussion:
New Policy: Arts Administrator Policy was drafted/discussed and adopted. 2-1 vote for.
Members are to email their thoughts on changes or issues with the policy.
We need a ByLaws Review Committee. The ByLaws have not been reviewed regularly.
Jim Dunne asked for
clarification of the Arts Administrator position within the bounds of the job
description.
NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
Discussion: New Slate: Donna Rochon President, Joann Knupp Vice President, Sara Jarvis & Erin McCall as Secretaries, Dave Eggler Treasurer No other nominations.
Motion to pass: Ralph Seeley 2nd: Colina Seeley
Other Business
Discussion:
The Bush House Mural Project hasn’t gone any further – need more attendance. It has become a beautification project – project scope has changed: Donna Rochon. Colina Seeley mentioned that Joe Banks (Master Gardener Program) may be interested in the project. Sally Houser posed the important question of who will maintain the project once the initial is complete. Donna: Borough? Sally Houser suggested checking with Penn State Horticulture, Bellefonte Garden Club or Lowe’s before the next meeting.

Next meeting to be held at the home of Ralph and
Colina Seeley on March 16th 2007 at 7:30PM.
