Present:  Romayne Naylor, Dave Eggler, Treasurer, Jim Dunne, Secretary,  Joanne Tosti-Vasey, Melady Kehm, Nancy Perkins, Gay Dunne, Jeanne Newlin, Joseph Griffin, Dave Kurtz, Susan Hoover, True Fisher.  A quorum was in attendance as defined by the BHCA bylaws.

Treasurer’s Report (Dave Eggler, click to read the report) - Approved (Gay, Joanne).

Committee Reports

     Curtin Village (Jeanne, Curtin Village Board Secretary)– Jeanne and Ralph Seeley toured the Village.  The State removed the contents in the 1970s, and removed a Curtin desk a year ago which they promised to return.  Jeanne will try to track the lost material.  A site map was presented.  The Bylaws are still a work in progress.  All are invited to join committees.  The roof leaks.

     Summer Sounds - No report

     Victorian Christmas - BHCA will have an information  table. 

     Poetry (Julia) - Julia Swarstad, author of Jumping the Pit book, had a very successful reading on Nov. 17.  Broadsides and book sales benefitted the AME Church.  There were many good questions and a large attendance.

    Old House Fair (Joseph, Melady, Jeanne), April 29 & 30, 2016 - Awaiting responses from the fund raising efforts

        Friday: “Historic Preservation as a Financial Stimulus for Communities”                                                                         
        Saturday: Exterior Preservation                                                                                                                                          
        Sunday: Interior Preservation

    Historic Preservation (Jeanne) - Freight house: Test pits revealed poor land fill necessitating the use of a mat pad instead of traditional footers.  Sunnyside Cemetery: A youth group from Living Hope Alliance Church, Rev. John Pavlica, minister, will provide care for the Cemetery.  BHCA will provide community service hours.  Rep. Benninghoff’s office wil be notified.

    Talleyrand Park (True) - Six trees planted.

New Business - 1.  Melady suggested redoing Jack Yeager’s two Bellefonte plays as an AME Church fund raiser.  2.  Borough Council has approved black decorator traffic light poles for Water /High Sts., Water/Spring Sts., and High/Spring Sts.
