Committee Reports

Summer Sounds - (Nancy Miller, report submitted) - "JoAnn Knupp, chr., Sandy Johnston, Bonnie Leathers, Nancy Miller, Denise Snook.    Met Mon., Jan. 9.  Dates- June 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Aug.6. Performers asking for dates & other possible performers discussed. Assignments made & next meeting Jan 18. Request from non-committee person to bring Beatlemania to the Park. We talked to their agent who mentioned a $4000 fee. We are doing a feasibility study on that one!  Possibly the agent can get them down to $3,500. The only way this could be done is If we find a sound system, find some grant money or find corporate sponsors." Sally will work with JoAnn for corporate sponsorship.  Melady suggested that Beatlemania, if held indoors, could be used s a fund raiser, and not necessarily a Summer Sounds program. For future consideration.
